These no bake monster cookie granola bites are a delicious treat with the same great taste of monster cookies, with no flour, eggs, or added white sugar. They’re perfect for a quick healthier snack when you need something sweet!
These peanut butter granola bites are the perfect grab and go snack. They’re packed with oats, and peanut butter and are a perfect protein filled snack.
These monster cookie granola bar bites are one of our favorite healthier snacks because they satisfy your sweet tooth. They have no eggs, no flour, and no added white sugar (skip the m&ms and chocolate chips if you don’t want any sugar). They’re much healthier than grabbing a cookie for a sweet treat.
I love having a healthier snack ready in the afternoon when my younger kids wake up from their nap and my oldest gets home from school. These monster cookie granola bites are perfect for that, because I like them, and my kids like them!
These are the perfect post work out snack too. I’ve been getting back into exercising slowly after having Rosie. I’ve been running on our treadmill again, and doing high fitness once a week. I love grabbing one or two of these when I’m done for that perfect little burst of energy.
They only take a few minutes to make, so I like making them first thing in the morning, then throwing them in the fridge to get nice and cold. Then they’re ready to eat in the afternoon, or when we’re heading out the door to run some errands.
How to make no bake monster cookie granola bites?
These monster granola bites are so easy to make! You’ll throw all the ingredients into a large bowl, and stir them together till you have a nice sticky mixture. You just need oats, peanut butter, honey, mini m&ms and mini chocolate chips. (Like I said before, if you want them even healthier you can leave the chocolate pieces out).
You’ll want to wet your hands with cold water, or spray them with cooking spray cause the mixture is pretty sticky. Then you’ll roll it up into small 1 to 1 1/2 inch sized balls. You’ll want to wash your hands after every few as the mixture starts to stick to your hands and fingers more.
Place them onto a baking pan lined with a silicone liner, or parchment, as you make them. Then place the pan in the fridge to let the balls harden and set a bit. This should only take an hour or two, then they are ready to enjoy!
How long do granola bites last?
These stay good in the fridge for about a week. And they’re also great to freeze if we’re not going to eat them all at once. They should stay good in the freezer for 4-6 months. You can eat them straight from the freezer, or let them thaw for a couple hours in the fridge.
You’ll want to store them in an airtight container, a ziplock bag or pyrex should work great!
I got the idea for these bites from my friend Maegan over at The Baker Mama, but altered my no bake granola bar bites for the recipe and they turned out great!
These energy balls are so good, the trick is going to be controlling myself to just eat one or two when I have a sweet craving and need a little energy.

We love these! They make a great on-the-go snack! We have made them with old fashioned and instant oats, but our preference is the instant. Thanks!

What a fantastic recipe! I’m not too well-versed in the kitchen and am not sure of the difference between old fashioned oats vs instant oats (or even minute oats?), would using non-old fashioned oats for this recipe effect the outcome?? Thanks 🙂
Aimee says
Old fashioned oats are flattened pieces of grain. Instant are flattened then finely chopped, and quick oats are pressed even thinner than old fashioned oats. You should be able to use any of those three for these balls, but I’ve only tried old fashioned 😉

Tried it, doubled the batch, I used non latex type gloves, so there was no mess. Turned out great.

These look fabulous. I do try to eat healthier, and I’d be happy with these snacks. They don’t SEEM healthy, you know, even though they are.

Old fashioned oats are bigger and firmer pieces of oats, where quick or instant oats are either pressed, or chopped down making them cook faster. The other options should still work okay, though they may change the texture of the balls.

Oh and I added black chia seeds also for added protein.

Hi! So quick oats and minute oats are processed more than regular old fashioned/rolled outs. They are thinner, but should mostly work fine for this recipe!

Do you know the calorie info on these?
Aimee Berrett says
Hi Rebecca, I’m always hesitant to give out calorie information as my ingredients could vary from yours as well as I’m not a nutritionist and I don’t want to give wrong information. That being said, Marie (another reader) figured them to be about 89 calories each if you make the recipe into 24 balls. Let me know if you try it!
